Elite International Investments has 18 years’ experience in owning/operating/developing marinas and consulting on marina sales around the world.
In 2001, our Principal Justin James founded Sydney Boathouse and sat as a Director until 2009 when he won the tender to acquire Sydney Superyacht Marina which was immediately adjacent. Justin then held positions of CEO and Director of Sydney Superyacht Marina.
The Sydney Boathouse is Sydney's largest dry boat storage facility holding 670 boats up to 12m in length plus 4000m2 of waterfront retail and commercial space.
The Sydney Superyacht Marina is Australias largest Superyacht Marina. It provides for 79 superyachts up to 70m in length, over 3300m2 of retail/commercial space and a 6-storey car park.
In 2008, Justin also founded a joint venture with the world’s largest privately owned materials handling company, Loedige Industries, to become a leading supplier of automated boat storage equipment to the marine industry.
After selling both marina assets in 2015 and 2016, Justin started working consulting on marina sales of assets around the globe.
Alongside his professional pursuits, Justin James also held positions as both Chairman and a long standing Committee Member for Young Variety – The Children’s charity. Justin also owns Bisous Estate, a 138 acre property in the Hunter Valley that houses a commercial vineyard. The vineyard produces a premium Chardonnay and will shortly hold corporate and private events and promote indigenous tourism. For a number of years Justin has also played for a First Grade tennis team in Sydney and has travelled around NSW to compete in a number of Australian Money Tournaments.
